What is the difference between macro and micro plastics?

"Macro: plastics larger than 25mm. Micro: plastics smaller than 5mm." Currently, we can say that "Small plastics, big problems." Small plastics such as cotton swabs, straws, coffee spoons, etc., have proven to be a problem for the environment and for recycling industries, either because of their composition, which makes recycling impossible, or because of their characteristics that make them a harmful target for the ocean due to their size and lightness, which allows them to easily enter storm drains and head towards the sea without any barrier to stop them. Always look for biodegradable materials for single use; nature will thank you, and so will we.
